Choosing your own soil
The first real paycheck, the first real choices, and the money beliefs you brought from home.
The TodayPLANTomorrow podcast
A podcast about money and aging well, one decade at a time. Each episode sits in one decade, from the 20s to the 70s, and asks two things: what this season of life is really like, and what you are doing with your money in it.

Foluke Olayele · Host of TodayPLANTomorrow
Why this show
Most of us learn money one stage at a time, and usually a little late. This show lets every stage of life speak, so someone at 25 can hear from someone at 75 before it is their turn.
Every one of us was planted somewhere. The beliefs about money you grew up with follow you into every decade.
Each decade puts its own pressure on the paycheck, the calendar and the family. Hearing it named helps.
The best lesson for your next stage usually comes from someone already living it.
How each episode runs
Every guest speaks for the decade they are living. We talk about the season itself, and about money inside it.
What this stage of life is really like.
What you are doing with your money in it.
The same questions about aging well run through every episode. Each decade answers them in its own words, so by the end you hear how a whole lifetime answers the same question.
The decades
Each decade follows a stage from Plant Your Money Seeds, and each has two seats: one man and one woman.
The first real paycheck, the first real choices, and the money beliefs you brought from home.
Single or married, the decade when everyone seems to need your paycheck at once.
Raising children, checking on parents, and wondering whether you are on track.
The questions get specific: retirement, caregiving, and the money talk with your own parents.
Health, loss and the moment the plan meets real life, and how to keep your footing.
Legacy, wisdom, and what you want the next generation to catch from watching you.
This is an application
Being chosen means you represent your stage of life for the whole run of the show. That is an honor, and I treat it like one.
Two voices for each decade. One man and one woman represent each decade, from the 20s through the 70s.
I choose. I read every application myself and choose who represents each stage of life. It is not first come, first served.
Applying does not commit you to a date. Episodes are recorded in any order and released in sequence. If you are chosen, I send you a personal link to pick your recording time.
You do not need to be a money expert. You need to be honest about the decade you are living.
What to expect
We record on Zencastr in your web browser. Nothing to download, and you join from wherever you are.
The conversation itself runs 30 to 45 minutes, so it fits into a normal day.
A laptop with a camera, headphones and a quiet room. A good microphone helps, but it is not required.
We record whenever suits you. The episodes go out decade by decade, from the 20s to the 70s.
A private folder with short clips, a custom thumbnail, ready-to-post captions and your full recording.
Your episode goes out on YouTube and Spotify, ready for you to share with the people you serve.

How it works
Tell me your age, the decade you are living and a little about your life and work.
I read every application. If you are chosen, you hear from me personally.
You get a private link to choose a recording time that works for you. Then we talk.

Your host
I am a faith-based financial coach. I help individuals and couples face their finances and make one clear plan they can follow, and I pray with my clients.
This show grew out of my book. Money looks different at every stage of life, and the best teacher for your next stage is someone who is already living it.
Applications are open
For guests in their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s. Two seats in each.
